They started early with festivities, of traditional Groomsmen Games, followed by the Chinese Tea Ceremony. Then the Marriage Ceremony was at the beautiful bluestone Wesley Uniting Church in Lonsdale Street Melbourne.

The Reception was at The Gables Receptions in East Malvern, which is surrounded by one hundred-year-old trees, and with a stunning Victorian period architecture in the Queen Anne style venue, why wouldn’t you feel like a Princess.

As apart of Nancy and Khaseng’s Wedding Movies Package they had a quick turn around Highlight Edit, so when they go over seas to see family and friends that couldn’t make it to Australia for their wedding, they can relive the day as if they were there by watching their Wedding Movie.

What a fabulous and entertaining wedding, when such a couple is able to relax and be themselves, it really makes for an amazing Wedding Movie. They really show their love for each other and let their personalities loose. With the belly shaking Sega Dancing and the beat of the drums, really had the guests rocking the house! at the stunning Reception Leonda By The Yarra.

It was a fun day had by all. The sun was shinning and everyone was smiling, so fitting with the song “Smile” by Uncle Kracker. The creative flare of Johl from JD Digital Photography, took the bridal party to a few fabulous locations for the photo and video shoot, using a playground slide, and the colourful Graffiti on the wall is so vibrant. They had a little time to relax with a coffee & some wine & beer before heading to the wedding Reception at the gorgeous Leonda By The Yarra, and such a beautiful send off for Julie & Anthony to leave on a boat from the Leonda Pier.

This Major Event is open to the public from 10.00am with the last entry at 3.30pm. You can stay as long as you like, until the Exhibition closes at 5.00pm daily. To eliminate over-crowding, Session Arrival Times are in place for you to choose from. There are four Session Arrival Times on both Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm then 2.30pm. Each Session Arrival Time corresponds to a Fashion Parade that commences approximately one hour after each Session Arrival Time, to allow visitors ample time to walk through the displays before the Fashion Show starts. Tickets are $15 per person if purchased on this website, they are also available on the weekend of the Event for $20 per person at the door. I met with Helen in May, as she really wanted to be able to have one of their most special days of their life remembered, by having it created into a Movie. She had concerns that Nigel would feel uncomfortable because he thought that the videographer would be in his face all day. That is where Wedding Movies is different, we like to make you feel comfortable and relaxed by standing back and letting the day unfold naturally, rather than giving loads of direction.

Once Nigel’s wedding nerves settled, he was able to relax and I am sure he didn’t even notice that we were there.

The Nathania Springs staff are so wonderful that they help make the whole day run smoothly. We love that the venue caters for the all in one wedding, so while the photo shoot is happening in the beautiful gardens, after the ceremony in the Chapel, the guests have somewhere to stay and mingle with family and friends and enjoy refreshments and canapés.

Helen & Nigel and their guests certainly had a fabulous time and even made a spectacle on the dance floor. It is always great to see guests having fun at a wedding and not being a wallflower.

Ben Whimpey attended the ABIA awards night on Tuesday 6^th July 2010, at the stunning wedding reception Leonda By The Yarra, who came 2^nd in the reception category, and it is no wonder why since they have a beautiful venue with lovely staff.

The Bride and Groom’s of Victoria, who vote according to their experiences with their wedding suppliers, judge the ABIA awards. They nominate their suppliers after their wedding and give them a rating based on quality, customer service, attention to detail etc. What better way to find out how good a company is, than straight out of the mouth of Bride and Groom’s who have used them?
